Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Research in Engineering and Management Sciences (IJREMS) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and actively discourages all forms of malpractice. The journal requires all authors, reviewers, and editors to adhere to strict ethical guidelines to ensure the integrity and quality of published research.

Duties of Authors:

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must submit only original work and properly cite all sources. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
  • Data Accuracy: Research must be presented accurately and truthfully, with a clear and objective discussion of findings.
  • Multiple Submissions: Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to other journals.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources: All references and contributions from other works must be appropriately acknowledged.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the research should be listed as authors.
  • Disclosure: Any potential conflicts of interest, including financial support, must be clearly disclosed.
  • Correction of Errors: Authors must promptly inform the journal of any significant errors or inaccuracies discovered in their published articles.

Duties of Reviewers:

  • Publication Decisions: The editor-in-chief is responsible for making final decisions on which manuscripts are published.
  • Fair Evaluation: Manuscripts are assessed solely on academic merit, without discrimination of any kind.
  • Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than those directly involved in the publication process.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors must avoid using unpublished information from submissions for personal advantage and should disclose any conflicts of interest.
